ὀρθόδοξος. “Right glory” / “right opinion.” Names the apostolic faith rightly believed and rightly worshipped. Both the Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox use this term as a genuine self-identifier expressing fidelity to the one faith delivered to the saints.
